Mobile Wallet Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY CREATING, ACTIVATING OR USING YOUR MOBILE CARD, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND AND ABIDE BY THESE TERMS.
These Terms and Conditions also represent your agreement with Benton County Schools Credit Union regarding the use of your eligible debit or credit card account with a Mobile Wallet. Within these Terms, “you” or “your” refer to the member whose name is located on the Card or any authorized user of the Card. “BCSCU”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to Benton County Schools Credit Union.
What is the BCSCU Mobile Wallet?
The Mobile Wallet allows you to add your BCSCU Debit or Credit Card(s) to your mobile device. Your Card information is then replaced with a digital number or token. This enables you to make purchases and payments with merchants wherever Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, etc. are permitted. (Note: BCSCU isn’t the provider for the Mobile Wallet.)
Eligibility
Any BCSCU member that has an active account in good standing that has access to BCSCU debit/credit card(s). If your card or account is not in good standing we reserve the right to refuse, block, restrict, suspend, or terminate the use of your Mobile Wallet without notice.
Fees
There are currently no fees for using this service with BCSCU which can be subject to change. However, by agreeing to this Mobile Wallet service you risk fees from your service provider/wireless carrier, merchant, or any other third-party in connection with your use of Service. This may occur as you are downloading the Mobile Wallet service, receiving or sending text messages, or any other interactions you have while operating the Mobile Wallet.
Other Agreements
By agreeing to add your card(s) to the Mobile Wallet service provided by BCSCU, your card(s) and account will remain subject to existing terms and conditions with the credit union. While using this service you also agree to third party terms and conditions from the platform provider, your mobile carrier, and other websites and services. BCSCU is not responsible for the security, accuracy, appropriateness, legality or any other aspect of content of your device manufacturer’s or any third-party products or services.
Account Ownership
You represent that you are the legal owner of the account(s) and other financial information which can be accessed by the Mobile Wallet. All the information you provide to BCSCU must be correct and accurate. Any misrepresentation can lead to suspension of the mobile service.
Privacy and Security
It is BCSCU’s responsibility to securely transfer your information to the Mobile Wallet provider. This action is done using a secure channel. By using the Mobile Wallet service, you are allowing BCSCU to share your information with the Wallet provider, payment network and other third parties associated with the wallet to offer services. There are precautions that you must place in order to maintain security while using the wallet. For example, logging out of the Wallet after each use. Do not leave the Wallet unattended. Do not provide any personal information to others such as passwords or usernames. In the event that an unauthorized user may have access to your Wallet, or the Wallet is compromised, change your credentials on the app to avoid further unauthorized use and contact BCSCU immediately.
Suspension/Cancellation of Service
BCSCU reserves the right to discontinue or not participate in the Mobile Wallet service at any period. We also reserve the right to block, restrict, suspend, or terminate the use of your Mobile Wallet without notice and reason. Especially if you violate any of the terms and conditions for the Wallet, your agreement with BCSCU, and when fraudulent activity is suspected.
Changes in the Term of Use
At any point in time, BCSCU has the right to revise the Terms of Use of the Mobile Wallet service at our own discretion without notice. If/when changes do occur, you may be able to view the updated Terms and Conditions via your mobile device by accessing your BCSCU mobile cards. Not accepting the updated Terms and Conditions you forfeit access to the Mobile Wallet service, thus canceling or deleting your Mobile Wallet cards.
Liability
Using this service, you agree that BCSCU, the platform provider and its subsidiaries are not accountable from any claims, damages, expenses, and reasonable attorney fees made by any third party or that arises from usage of the Mobile Wallet; any breach of the terms and conditions; or other Mobile Payment Services using your Mobile Wallet card. You agree to honor this until the termination of this agreement.
